ANALYSIS OF CORN FOOD CROPS FARMING BUSINESSES IN RANTAU SELATAN DISTRICT, LABUHAN BATU REGENCY
Abstract
This research was carried out in Rantau Selatan District, Labuhan Batu Regency in February - March 2022. This research aims to analyze the income and feasibility of corn farming in the District. The method used to analyze the data in this research is the quantitative analysis method, namely the data obtained from the research in the form of numbers arranged in tables which will then be discussed and analyzed using predetermined equation models. The research results show that corn farming in Rantau Selatan District is worth pursuing because the total income of corn farmers in the research area is IDR 63,396.79 per Ha and the total costs are IDR. 4,654,321,- per Ha. So you get a total income of Rp. 3,498,335.1,- per Ha. Based on the calculation of business feasibility (R/C), namely the comparison of income with total production costs which is greater than zero, namely having a comparison number of 1.36, or 1.36 > 1, it can be concluded that the corn farming business in Rantau Selatan District, Regency Labuha Batu can be said to be profitable and worth running.
