THE INFLUENCE OF THE USE OF PRODUCTION FACTORS ON RICE PRODUCTION IN AEK PAING VILLAGE, LABUHAN BATU DISTRICT
Abstract
This research aims to determine the effect of land area, labor, seeds, fertilizer and pesticides on rice production in Aek Paing Village, Labuhan Batu Regency. This research approach is a quantitative approach with this type of research, namely by collecting data related to the variables to be studied through observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is a multiple linear regression function model followed by the f test and t test. The results of the research show that the f test simultaneously for land area, labor, seeds, fertilizer and pesticides simultaneously has a positive and significant influence on rice production in Aek Paing Village, Labuhan Batu Regency. Through a partial t test, the land area variable has a positive and significant effect on rice production, the seed variable has a positive but not significant effect on rice production, while labor, fertilizer and pesticides have a negative and insignificant effect on rice production in Aek Paing Village, Labuhan Batu Regency.
