Student Attendance Application Using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) Based Student Identification Card
Abstract
Manual attendance systems are still widely used in educational institutions, even though they have weaknesses such as human error, long recording times, and are not real-time. This book aims to design a Student Attendance Application Using an RFID (RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION) Based Student Identification Card to record data efficiently. This system integrates RFID devices, an Excel database for data storage, and Telegram for real-time notifications. Test results show that the system is able to record attendance with high accuracy and a processing time of less than one second. Apart from that, real-time notifications make monitoring easier for students and lecturers. This system supports campus digitalization by increasing efficiency, accuracy and transparency in managing student attendance.
